Dr. James Riordan is a development economist with over 35 years of experience in the design and implementation of business development and policy reform programs around the world. Mr. Riordan has lived in Colombia, Peru, Egypt, and Albania and has worked in 59 countries. As the Project Director for USAID’s Poverty Reduction and Alleviation Program in Peru, Mr. Riordan implemented an innovative approach (featured in the book) to generating jobs for the poor which received Peru’s prestigious Creatividad Empresarial award.
