The future of an affordable and safe healthcare system will require a focus on wellness and home based health care delivery. Novel wearable, implantable, and near patient sensing technologies are enabling remote diagnosis of disease and healing. Ingestible electronically-empowered pharmaceuticals are also enabling remote therapeutics. Smartphone based apps that provide wellness motivational strategies may prevent disease in the first place. Dr. Felder’s presentation will focus on how universities can contribute to the future of health through effective technological innovation and translation of new technologies and processes.=0D=0A=
