As of 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, Baylor University is experiencing rain and gusty winds from Hurricane Ike - which has now been downgraded to a tropical storm - but there are no reports of any weather-related problems on campus.

Libraries closed on Saturday

Baylor University Libraries will be open Friday until 10 p.m., closed all day on Saturday and resume regular hours on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.

Sunday Music Recital Canceled

The scheduled performance of the Gainsborough Trio on Sunday, Sept. 14, in Roxy Grove Hall has been canceled because of travel complications from Hurricane Ike.

Friday's Baylor-Washington State football game will be televised live at 7:30 p.m. CDT nationally on Fox College Sports Central (FCS Central) and regionally on FSN Southwest. The game will also air at 11 p.m. PDT on FSN Northwest. The telecast is in addition to a previously announced free live video web stream available on BaylorBears.com and WSUcougars.com.
