Baylor University Recognizes Stuart and Gina Solomon as Parents of the Year

The Baylor family is full of incredible parents who guide their children during these formative years and take active roles in our University. Each year, we honor a deserving couple as our Baylor Parents of the Year. Last month, Stuart and Gina Solomon of McLean, Va., were honored as the 2012 Parents of the Year.

Living-Learning Programs Expand the Baylor Experience

Living-Learning Programs stand as a distinct opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and faculty while living on Baylor’s campus. Through LLPs, students embrace the values of education, tradition and friendship by studying and living with students who share their interests. As your student begins to think about plans for the coming school year, encourage him or her to consider enhancing the Baylor experience by participating in a Living-Learning Program.

Introducing the After Hours BUS App

Baylor recently announced a new app that will benefit students across campus as they go about their busy days and nights. The After Hours BUS app, available for both iPhone and Droid phones, allows students to track the real-time location of the Baylor shuttle.

The system provides the updated location of the shuttle every ten seconds, ensuring that students know when their ride is on its way. The After Hours Route is active from 6:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with 20-minute stops on campus and in the surrounding neighborhood, and is free of charge.
