As we begin Baylor's 2010-2011 academic year, the faculty and staff are eager to get to know the Class of 2014 and welcome back our returning students. We look forward to an outstanding year and are excited to have your sons and daughters studying and living with us in the Baylor community.
As you read this issue of Perspectives, I hope you gain a better
understanding of the importance Baylor places on the interconnectedness of service and leadership. Our hope is that Baylor students understand the relationship between academic coursework and the reality of the world in which we live.
Obviously, challenging coursework is at the core of a Baylor education, and our nine university libraries provide limitless resources for your student. You will be interested in learning how the University is striving to meet the needs of the student body in
an ever-changing environment.
Be sure to watch your inbox throughout the year for upcoming issues of Perspectives, and remember, the Parents League is only a click or phone call away.
