The weather has changed and classes are wrapping up on the Baylor campus. Within days, your student will complete final exams and, hopefully, head home for a good time of rest and relaxation.

In this issue, we talk about the transition students experience during the holidays. I encourage you to consider how you hope to spend time with your student during the break and how you might discuss goals for the coming semester.

This also might be a time for you to consider becoming involved in or beginning a Parents League chapter. You can learn more in the story about the Northwest Dallas chapter, which is just one of the many chapters that are spread across the U.S.

Most of all, I hope you and your family have a most blessed Christmas and are surrounded by the ones you love.
