Baylor's Facility, Planning and Construction department supports the mission of Baylor University by providing coordination and project management of major construction projects at the University. The staff oversees all capital construction improvements and architectural / engineering design services for the University. The department is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and assuring functional compliance to standards and criteria as identified by the University administration under Baylor 2012.

The department has managed and executed over $250 million in new construction and building improvements since 2003.

Brian Nicholson
Associate Vice President for Facility, Planning and Construction
Brian became the Associate Vice President for Facility, Planning and Construction after serving in various levels of the department. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and received his EMBA in Business Administration from Baylor. He came to Baylor from McCarthy Building Companies in 2003.

Lois Ferguson
Facility Utilization Planner
Lois has been with Baylor since 1988 working in a variety of departments that range from Student Life, where she produced All University Sing, to Academics, where she worked in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Provost's office. She has worked with facility allocation, building and event scheduling and production, and continues to serve as manager for the university commencement ceremonies. Lois joined Facility, Planning and Construction to allocate space, and to relocate departments and their staff.

Kevin Karr
Senior Project Manager
Kevin joined Baylor Facility, Planning and Construction in 2009 as Senior Project Manager. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Texas A&M University. Kevin worked 16 years constructing large commercial construction projects throughout Texas and he is experienced in sustainable design and construction practices and is a 'LEED' accredited professional.

Keven Kehlenbach
Director of Construction Services
Keven joined Baylor Facility, Planning and Construction in 2007 as Senior Project Manager and became Director of Construction Services in 2008. Keven holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University's Department of Construction Science. Before coming to Baylor, Keven worked six years with the General Contractor at McCarthy Building Companies.

Stan Love
University Architect
Stan joined Baylor University in 2001 as a Lecturer in the Interior Design program. From 2002-2005 he served jointly as Lecturer and as the University Architect. Stan returned to his dual role in 2007 when he joined Baylor Facility, Planning and Construction department. He is a graduate of the School of Architecture at Texas Tech University and is a licensed Architect. Stan has professional membership with the American Institute of Architects and the Texas Society of Architects.

George Thornton
Project Manager
George joined Baylor Facility, Planning and Construction as Project Designer in July of 2007. He became Project Manager in 2008. George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Baylor University and a Minor in Business Administration. Before becoming a full time employee for Baylor, George worked as a design intern for one year until graduating in May of 2007.
