Education:

  • B.A., Baylor University in Business Administration, 1995
  • M.A., Baylor University in Organizational Communication, 1999
  • Ph.D., Texas A&M University in Organizational Communication ,2007

Background:

Dr. Browning is a Baylor graduate and loves being able to teach at his alma mater. He has been teaching since 1999 and has taught courses primarily in Leadership, Conflict Management, and Small Group Communication. Dr. Browning was named the Carr P. Collins Outstanding Professor of Baylor in 2012. He has published articles about social media and student-athletes as well as interim leadership - his two primary research interests. Outside of teaching and research, Blair has worked for the university in many roles, including being on the Undergraduate Admissions Committee, serving as the director of Freshman Leadership Organization, and hosting All-University SING and Pigskin. He married a fellow Baylor graduate, Jordan, in 2000 and they have 3 children (Keely, Boone, and Addy) with a 4th due in late 2013 (Kirby). They are active at Harris Creek Baptist Church and you will find the Browning family at almost every Baylor sporting event - sic'em Bears!
