About the Department

The Department of Communication Studies at Baylor University is comprised of the Speech Communication and Film and Digital Media divisions.

The Department offers four undergraduate majors, and four minors in Communication Studies, as well as a Master of Arts in Communication Studies.

There are currently twenty-four full-time faculty in the Department of Communication Studies.

Our Glenn R. Capp Debate Program is one of the leading undergraduate debate programs in the nation.

Directions:

From I-35, take the University Parks Drive exit east (Exit 335B). The Baylor Parking Facility is located on the corner of University Parks Drive and Dutton. As you walk form the parking garage to the campus, the Castellaw Communication Center is the first academic building on your right. See the Baylor Map--#69 is the Parking Facility, #62 is the Castellaw Communication Center.
