Meet Our Residence Hall Director Staff!
My interest in Student Affairs began during my time in undergrad when I was a Resident Assistant. After college I moved to Chicago, where I worked for Emmaus Ministries and developed a passion to pursue a career where I could mentor others and be mentored. In 2012 I married my husband Cameron and moved to Georgia where I taught classes at the August Care Pregnancy Center and worked as a Library Coordinator for Georgia Military College in Augusta Georgia. In July 2013 I moved to Waco and am now privileged to serve as the Assistant Hall Director in Collins Hall.
What sets the students in your community apart?
Collins is full of stories and legacy. It is a place where lives are shared, stories are made and tradition thrives.
What is it about being a Hall Director that you enjoy most?
Mentoring students is one of my favorite parts of my job at Baylor. The image of Jesus walking alongside the disciples on the road to Emmaus resonates with me. I have discovered many of my own limitations, and I have met incredible individuals who have taught me how to ask for help, offer encouragement, and trust in God's love revealed through Jesus. I hope to continue being inspired and inspiring others to keep reaching for our fullest potential-in the midst of acknowledging our weaknesses so that God's strength can be seen.
