How Can I Get Help?


The Residential Technology Support Center (RTSC) can be contacted in a variety of ways. Our hours of operation are:

Fall 2012

    Monday - Thursday: 2:00 - 8:00 PM
    Friday: 2:00 - 5:00 PM
    Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Walk-In

Please visit the Residential Technology Support Center located in Martin Residence Hall during the hours listed above. If you plan to drop off your laptop, a power adaptor will need to be provided.

Online Problem Submittal

To request assistance for your personal computer or technology, you can use our online problem ticket system, using your Bear ID and password. Someone will call you within 48 hours (Monday-Friday) to troubleshoot or to schedule an appointment. Access the online ticket system here.

Telephone

The Residential Technology Support Center is available at (254) 292-4111. If we are unable to troubleshoot your problem over the phone, we will schedule an in-room appointment. Appointments are typically scheduled for the next business day (Monday-Friday).

ITS Self-Service Solutions

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides an online list of solutions for users. Please note that if you believe the problem is specific to the Residential Network, contact the RTSC in one of the ways mentioned above. If your technical problem is of a general nature, you can access the Self-Service Solutions for common suggestions on resolving issues.
