What Should I Do Before Move-in?

Texas state law requires all new students under the age of 30 to show proof of meningococcal vaccination within the last 5 years. For more information go to the Health Center's website.

Connecting with your roommate is one of the best ways to prepare for your move to Baylor. Roommate assignments are made as early as June, and once you receive your assignment, try to get to know your roommate. Reach out, talk about your plans for the room, and determine what items to bring on move in day.

Find information about the community you are going to live in. Whether you're in a Traditional Hall, Living-Learning Program, or Apartment, these links will lead you to the dimensions and included amenities for the type of room you are living in.

Don't forget to purchase a parking pass from Parking and Transportation Services. Freshmen students can park their car on campus as long as they have a valid parking decal. With this decal, you can park in any student parking space on campus (including all parking garages).
