Senior Fellows
The Senior Fellows of Brooks Residential College are faculty members drawn from throughout the departments, colleges, and schools of Baylor University that have commited themselves to a high level of leadership and participation in the college. In general, Senior Fellows are active in college life on a weekly (or even daily) basis. Some Senior Fellows are named by virtue of appointments to service made by the Dean for Student Learning and Engagement (e.g., Master and Trustee). Senior Fellow status may also be given to faculty members that commit to significant regular responsibilities in the college, including advising of college committees, leadership in Morning and/or Evening Prayer, or long-term partnership with a CL and a designated men's or women's floor. As a matter of course, Senior Fellows make themselves informally available to students by taking some of their meals in the Great Hall. Senior Fellows over time become known by virtually all of the members of the college.
Senior Fellows help embody the traditions and aspirations of Brooks College, facilitate interaction between members of Brooks College and the wider intellectual community of Baylor University, and serve as an academic resource for the residents of Brooks College.
