CASPER Seminar - Dr. John Alred - The Future of NASA

Dr. John Alred will present information on current NASA missions including the recently landed Mars rover Curiosity, the International Space Station and its commercial partners, the Orion Spacecraft, and information about his work with the Materials and Processes Branch at the Johnson Space Center.
Dr. John Alred is the acting Deputy Branch Chief of the Materials & Processes Branch of the Structural Engineering Division at the NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. He is also concurrently the International Space Station System Manager for Materials and Processes. He attended the University of Central Arkansas where he received Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics. He continued on in Physics receiving a M.S., followed by a Ph.D., at Baylor University.
