Meal Plans

All freshmen and all residents of Brooks Residential College are required to select from the Unlimited, the Works, the Classic, or the Block 225 meal plan. If you are a freshman or a resident of Brooks Residential College and do not select one of the required meal plans, you will automatically be placed into the Classic meal plan.

For meal plan purposes, "Freshmen" are high school graduates who have not attended higher education for either a fall or spring semester after their high school graduation. This classification covers the first academic year the student is enrolled at Baylor.

Students who complete college hours during high school, and/or attend another university during the summer, and matriculate at Baylor in the fall are deemed "Freshmen" for the fall and spring semesters. Students graduating from high school in December and matriculating at Baylor in the spring are considered "Freshmen" for only the spring semester.

The dining halls serve three meals per day Monday-Saturday. Breakfast and lunch only are served on Sunday. (Prices include 8.25% sales tax).

Reductions or Meal Plan drops may only be made through the second week of classes. No reductions or drops will be permitted after September 4, 2009 for the Fall Semester '09. Any refunds or changes are calculated on a prorated basis and will be applied to any outstanding balance on your student account.

Both the Socialite and Basic Meal Plans include 5 guest passes per semester.

**The Ivy Square Cafeteria is open for the following meals and times ONLY:

Breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday is served from 7 AM to 8:30 AM.
Dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is served from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

The Ivy Square Meal Plan is available only at the Ivy Square Cafeteria, not at any other dining hall.
No other meal plan may be used at the Ivy Square Cafeteria.
