To make an appointment, please complete our online request form.
If you need additional information about our services, you can call us at (254)710-8434.
You may also stop by our front office in Room 132 of the Sid Richardson Building.
Our hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Career counseling, including assessments, is provided for all currently enrolled Baylor students at no cost. Students on probation (not currently enrolled, but planning to return) may also receive career counseling services at no cost.
Alumni who can come to the campus for a face-to-face session may utilize career counseling services during non-peak times (December, May, July and August). However, alumni will be charged $25 to cover the cost of the two assessments used in the career counseling process, but will not be charged for the actual career counseling sessions. Alumni can make payments by cash or check only (no credit cards).
Alumni who are unable to meet for a face-to-face meeting with a career counselor can use the National Career Development Association’s Find a Counselor tool to identify career counselors outside of the Waco area. Baylor University does not specifically endorse any of the counselors listed on the Find a Counselor website. We are not able to provide career counseling services to incoming students until they have registered for classes and are available to meet with a counselor in person.
It is recommended that you begin the career counseling process as soon as possible, preferably beginning in your first year.
Please be aware that if you are sick (coughing, sneezing, running fever), you will need to RESCHEDULE your appointment. This is for the protection of students and our career counselors. To reschedule your appointment, please call (254) 710-8434.
