Day Trip Packing List

We will provide most of the necessary equipment needed for camping and any technical aspect of the trip. You will need to bring the following items listed below. Please keep in mind that the weather can change rapidly. Wool and synthetic blends are always preferred over cotton clothing. Try to bring clothes that allow you to "layer": remove and add as temperature and weather changes. Storage space is limited, so please pack with this in mind. This is a general packing list. Please check the weather and plan accordingly. Always put your name on the items you bring.

• Day Pack
• Rain Gear including a water proof jacket and pants
• Rain gear is available for rent in the OA Rental Office
• Warm Fleece Jacket or Pullover (Texas trip/Oct-April)
• Warm Hat (Texas trip/Oct-April)
• Sun Hat
• Hiking Boots (if hiking or backpacking)
• Athletic Shoes (closed toed tennis shoes or trail shoes)
• Sunscreen and chap stick
• Sunglasses
• Camera/Film
• Towel (paddle or caving trips)
• Change of Clothes (paddle or caving trips)
