Daniel was born in Grapevine, TX. He went to a small private school in his hometown before attending Baylor University where he received his B.A. in Sociology. He is currently working towards a Master's degree in Sport Management.

He developed a passion for Outdoor Adventure upon attending Baylor as an undergrad and plans to turn this passion into a career. In his free time he enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, paddling, trail running, and hiking/backpacking.
