Assistant Director for Campus Recreation - Intramural Sports
Dominque Hill, a native of Bayboro, North Carolina, is the proud son of Ira Johnson and Hazel Credle. He is married to his High School sweetheart, Mrs. Gretel Hill, and has 3 beautiful children: Nadia, Kayla, and Dominque II. Dominque comes to Baylor University by way of Charlotte, North Carolina. He resided there for over eight years after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, were he obtained a BA Degree in Physical Education, Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in African American Studies.
Dominque served as a Recreation Specialist with the Charlotte Park and Recreation Department for 8 years. He joined the Campus Recreation team in August 2007 and serves thousands of students each year. As a member of the professional community, Dominque welcomes the opportunity to share his experiences in the field of recreation during conference discussions or presentations. He is actively involved in the Waco community through the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and the Greater New Light Missionary Baptist Church.
One of Dominque's favorite scriptures gives a little insight about who he strives to be as a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ: Psalm 34:1-3 (KJV) "I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise [shall] continually [be] in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [thereof], and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together."
