Join Our TeamThe Opportunity![]() FACILITIES STAFF Lifeguard - join our Aquatics team and work as a lifeguard at SLC Leisure Pool; certification required. Office Admin - become a part of the "A" Team and work "behind the scenes" in the Campus Rec Office; previous clerical experience preferred. Rec Service Team - enter the front lines of Campus Rec member services by working the desk at the SLC, Russell Gym and Baylor Marina; previous customer service experience preferred. Summer Application Fall/Spring Application FITNESS STAFF Fitness Center Attendant - passionate about fitness and helping others? Serve as a Baylor Fitness team member in our SLC and Russell weight centers; background in health or fitness preferred. Bearobics Instructor - lead, encourage and motivate participants in a variety of group exercise classes by joining our staff of aerobics instructors; certification or previous teaching experience required. Bear Cycle Instructor - help take our studio cycling program to the next level by becoming an instructor in our newest group fitness program; certification required. Personal Trainer - work one-on-one with Baylor students, faculty and staff to help them achieve their fitness goals; certification required. Contact Van Davis for more information regarding this position. INTRAMURAL STAFF Official/Referee - you make the call! Get an active courtside view of Baylor Intramurals by officiating one of our many intramural sports; general sports knowledge preferred. Scorekeeper - assist the officials and keep track of player check-in and the most visible part of the competition - the score! Set-Up Team - become a member of the operations team that helps make intramurals possible by setting up and prepping the fields and courts so that they are ready for game time. Marketing Team - jump head first into marketing here in Bear Country by informing Baylor students about Intramural programming; marketing or advertising experience preferred. OUTDOOR ADVENTURE STAFF Rock Staff - help Baylor students get a taste of the outdoors here in the SLC by belaying students, faculty, and staff up the tallest free-standing collegiate rock wall in Texas; experience preferred but not required. Marina Staff - join the OA team on the banks of the Brazos River; help teach and guide our patrons as they learn and experience the River on our kayaks, canoes and sailboats at the Baylor Marina. Equipment Rental Staff - equip the faculty, staff, and students of Baylor University for their adventures in the great outdoors by coordinating gear at the SLC equipment room. Student Leader - put your outdoors skills to use by leading trip participants and conducting skills clinics. Develop leadership skills while teaching skills and safety to others. Challenge Course Facilitator - encourage groups to learn and grow as they encounter and overcome physical and mental challenges presented by our outdoor ropes course at Eastland Lakes; certification required.
