Our Vision:
The Department of Campus Recreation at Baylor University is committed to being the very best at programming with distinctive purpose. We will reach beyond the traditional industry standards to enhance the total development of students through each aspect of the recreational programming. We envision a dynamic array of programs that positively engage students and develop community between students as well as a long-term commitment to Baylor University.

Our Mission:
The mission of Campus Recreation is to offer comprehensive, quality programs and services that will enhance healthy lifestyles founded on the principles of integrity, sportsmanship, and Christian values.

Through deliberate programming, Campus Recreation inherently creates a practical lab where students are challenged to live out their faith, develop character and understand the implication of their actions having the potential to lead and influence others and contribute to the community and outcomes of their diverse recreational experiences. Students working within the Department are guided in their growth and understanding of personal accountability, respect for others, service, commitment and ethical decision-making allowing them to leave the university equipped as servant leaders.

Our Values:
A brief look at our programs will show that participation already reflect the diversity of the Baylor student body. It is our belief that we should continue to be intentional and creative in the way we meet student needs based on differences and interests and improve the overall opportunities offered to all students. We want to be outstanding at supporting and encouraging non-traditional recreation while highlighting the more traditional recreational programs.
