Frequently Asked Questions about Bear Cycle

Q. What is the cost of a Group X Membership? Membership includes access to both Bear Cycle and Bearobics classes.
A. Fall/Spring Fee: $50/semester
Summer Fee: $30

*Please Note: membership fee is non-refundable
Q. Who can register for a Group X Membership?
A. Any current Baylor student, faculty/staff member or F/S spouse may register. Also, any student-spouse or dependent (age 16 -24) who has a current Campus Recreation membership card is eligible to register.
Q. Where do I sign up? What do I need to bring?
A. Bring your valid Baylor ID or Campus Rec Membership Card (for student-spouses and dependents) and sign up at the Front Desk of the McLane Student Life Center (SLC) by completing a Bear Cycle registration form.

Accepted payment types include: cash, check, Bearbucks (students), Payroll Deduction (F/S only), and most credit cards.
Q. Can I try out a Bear Cycle class before I register for the membership?
A. All Bear Cycle classes are free the first week of both the Fall and Spring semesters. After that time, guests who show a valid Baylor ID or Campus Recreation membership card may attend one free Bear Cycle class before they register for the membership.
Q. Where is the Bear Cycle Studio located?
A. Our newly renovated Bear Cycle Studio is located on the first floor of Russell Gym, adjacent to the administrative offices.
Q. What do I need to bring to Bear Cycle classes?
A. Participants MUST bring their valid Baylor ID or Campus Rec Membership Card to each class. We also recommend that you bring a workout towel and a water bottle with you to every class!
