Frequently Asked Questions about Bearobics

Q. What is the cost of a Group X membership? Membership includes access to both Bearobics & Bear Cycle classes.
A. Fall/Spring Fee: $50/semester
Summer Fee: $30

*Please Note: membership fee is non-refundable
Q. Who can register for a Group X Membership?
A. Any current Baylor student, faculty/staff member or F/S spouse may register. Also, any student-spouse or dependent (age 16 -24) who has a current Campus Recreation membership card is eligible to register.
Q. Where do I sign up? What do I need to bring?
A. Bring your valid Baylor ID or Campus Rec Membership Card (for student-spouses and dependents) and sign up at the Front Desk of the McLane Student Life Center (SLC) by completing a Bearobics registration form.

Accepted payment types include: cash, check, Bearbucks (students), Payroll Deduction (F/S only), and most credit cards.
Q. Can I try out Bearobics classes before I register for the membership?
A. All Bearobics classes are free the first week of both the Fall and Spring semesters. After that time, guests who show a valid Baylor ID may attend one free Bearobics class before they register.
Q. Where is the Bearobics studio located?
A. It is located on the 3rd floor of the McLane Student Life Center (SLC), right next to the elevator.
Q. What do I need to bring to Bearobics classes?
A. Participants MUST bring their valid Baylor ID or Campus Rec Membership Card to each class. All equipment is provided through the Bearobics program. If you are attending a Yoga or Pilates class, you may bring your own mat.
