Frequently Asked Questions about Bearobics
| Q. | What is the cost of a Group X membership? Membership includes access to both Bearobics & Bear Cycle classes. |
| A. | Fall/Spring Fee: $50/semester Summer Fee: $30 *Please Note: membership fee is non-refundable |
| Q. | Who can register for a Group X Membership? |
| A. | Any current Baylor student, faculty/staff member or F/S spouse may register. Also, any student-spouse or dependent (age 16 -24) who has a current Campus Recreation membership card is eligible to register. |
| Q. | Where do I sign up? What do I need to bring? |
| A. | Bring your valid Baylor ID or Campus Rec Membership Card (for student-spouses and dependents) and sign up at the Front Desk of the McLane Student Life Center (SLC) by completing a Bearobics registration form. Accepted payment types include: cash, check, Bearbucks (students), Payroll Deduction (F/S only), and most credit cards. |
| Q. | Can I try out Bearobics classes before I register for the membership? |
| A. | All Bearobics classes are free the first week of both the Fall and Spring semesters. After that time, guests who show a valid Baylor ID may attend one free Bearobics class before they register. |
| Q. | Where is the Bearobics studio located? |
| A. | It is located on the 3rd floor of the McLane Student Life Center (SLC), right next to the elevator. |
| Q. | What do I need to bring to Bearobics classes? |
| A. | Participants MUST bring their valid Baylor ID or Campus Rec Membership Card to each class. All equipment is provided through the Bearobics program. If you are attending a Yoga or Pilates class, you may bring your own mat. |
