Group X Program
This program allows the Baylor community to come together and workout by attending one of our many Group Excercise Clases. The program combines our Bearobics classe and our Bear Cycle classse to offer members a wide variety of group fitness options.

  • Bearobics
    Our extensive aerobics program offers over 40 fun and effective classes, such as: Zumba, Boxing/Conditioning, Turbo Kick, Hip Hop, Pilates, Yoga, Aquacise, and more. Our friendly, skilled instructors will encourage you to reach your fitness goals and offer challenging classes to get you there. There is a class for everyone; come try them out!

  • Bear Cycle
    Indoor Studio Cycling (sometimes called "spinning") is an intense, but low impact work out that allows you to go at your own pace or to push yourself to the max. Even if you're a beginner, having an individual bike allows you to modify the workout to your fitness level. You'll enjoy fun music, a team of other cyclers, and energetic, certified instructors who are eager to help you achieve your fitness goals. Some classes will incorporate toning or an abdominals section for the last few minutes of class. Come join us in the cycling studio for an awesome - albeit sweaty - workout!

OsoFit Faculty & Staff Incentive Program
Faculty and Staff are invited and encouraged to join the Campus Recreation Fitness Incentive Program, "Oso Fit"! Register today at the Student Life Center Service desk for the Baylor OsoFit Program. Then, stay active by attending Group X classes or circuit weight training at least twice a week throughout the semester to receive insurance premium credits from HR!

Fitness Center Orientation
This is a free service for all Baylor students, faculty, and staff designed to provide beginner fitness participants the opportunity to learn about the fitness center and how to correctly use the fitness equipment. For an appointment, call the Fitness Center at (254)710-7527.

Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy promotes relaxation and well-being, improves circulation, and relieves muscles tension, along with many other benefits. The massage room is located inside the SLC Fitness Center. To schedule and appointment, please call the McLane Student Life Center at (254)710-7542 and our Rec Service Staff will be happy to assist you.

Peer Nutrition Education Program
This one-on-one program designed to educate and to address basic nutritional concerns and needs for all Baylor students, faculty, and staff. This program is FREE for students, faculty, and staff. Appointments may be scheduled by calling (254)710-7537.

Personal Training
Baylor students, faculty, and staff can hire a personal trainer to assist with their fitness goals and needs. One-on-one personal training sessions lasts approximately 1-hour. All Baylor Personal Trainers are nationally certified.

Workout & Win
During each visit to the Fitness Center or Bearobics class, a patron can fill out a coupon for a chance to win great door prizes at the end of the month. The sign up station is located at the fitness counter on the first floor of the Fitness Center and inside the Bearobics room. The contest is free to enter.
