Rock Climbing

#1. Are there tryouts for your team?
No tryouts are held unless an overwhelming number of climbers apply for membership.

#2. How many days and hours/week do you practice?
Practices are held once a week on Thursdays from 8:15-10.

#3. Typically where are your games/practices held?
We practice at the Baylor ROCK in the SLC. Competitions are held all across Texas.

#4. What schools do you compete against? What league are you in?
We compete against Texas A&M, SMU, Texas Tech, UNT, SFA, and UT. We are a part of the USA Climbing Collegiate Climbing Series. www.usaclimbing.org

#5. What are the dues for this club team?
The dues are $100 for the first semester and $50 for each following semester.

#6. When is your season? Do you practice in the off-season?
We practice year-round. Our main competition season is in the spring, although there are a few competitions in the fall.

#7. Do students need experience to join?
No experience is necessary to join, although prior climbing experience is recommended.
