Japanese Exchange & Teaching Program information session by a representative from the Consulate of Japan

DescriptionA representative from the Japan Exchange & Teaching Program is coming from the Consulate of Japan in Houston on Tuesday, Oct. 16. The JET program is run by the Japanese government and is a competitive and prestigious English teaching program. Professors Prefume and Gaines are working with the representative to have a information desk at the SUB (1st floor) from 3- 4PM, and the information session in Morrison Hall 102 from 4-5PM. Last year two Baylor students were accepted, and one is currently teaching in Fukuoka. He is scheduled to join us via Skype during the session.

Japanese language skills are a plus, but not a must, so feel free to come to the information desk or session no matter your major!
