LocationBDSC Drawing Room
DescriptionAudience: Staff. Baylor University is rich in tradition and history for over 160 years. In 1995, Baylor University adopted the official Baylor Class Ring, a symbol that depicts our rich history and tradition. Each fall and spring semester, hundreds of students come to participate in the Ring Ceremony and become a part of "The Fellowship of the Ring". For several years, history professor emeritus Robert Reid enchanted the crowd with his explanation of the symbols. The tradition-like the Ivy chain at Ring Out-has now been passed to Vince Clark "83, JD '85, MA '91 Reid's friend and former student, who teaches history at McLennan Community College. Join us as Mr. Clark shares "The Fellowship of the Ring." Be sure and bring your Baylor ID to record your attendance.Read More »
