|Description||The exPRESSions:art of the book exhibition is the result of a group project that is organized and presented by the students of a special topics graphic design course titled, The Artist Book: Image, Language & Typography, led by Virginia Green, Associate Professor of Art. Students learned about traditional bookbinding and materials, letterpress printing, and various image making techniques. They had many interactions with the Baylor Book Arts Collection, that includes 900 artist books! Students selected one of their book projects and one artist book from the collection that served as inspiration.
An opening reception with light refreshments will be held from 5:30 to 7pm on Thursday, May 4. The event and exhibition are free and open to the public.
