POSITIONS AVAILABLE: We are seeking a fulltime position for a Clinical Assistant Professor in Quantitative Business Analysis/MIS. This is a non-tenure track position that is contingent upon funding approval.

DESIRED STARTING DATE: Fall 2015

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified applicants must possess either a master's or PhD in Information Systems (with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in statistics) or a PhD in a related quantitative field such as Statistics or Operations Research. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of teaching excellence in the area of quantitative business analysis (business statistics) and the ability to collaborate with others in a dynamic educational environment.

TEACHING SPECIALIZATIONS: The primary need is in the area of teaching quantitative business analysis (business statistics) to undergraduate business majors. Preference will be given to candidates who also possess background in business (data) analytics and who may also be able to teach MIS core courses such as programming, database, and/or systems analysis and design. The standard teaching load for fall/spring semesters will be between 6 - 8 courses.

PROGRAM CHARACTERISTICS: The Hankamer School of Business (www.baylor.edu/business/) is AACSBaccredited and home to the Department of Information Systems (www.baylor.edu/business/mis/). The Information Systems Department has 24 fulltime faculty supporting three fulltime MIS degrees (undergraduate MIS, MSIS, and PhD) as well as business school service courses in quantitative business methods, MIS, and business communications/writing.
