We encourage applicants from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds to apply to the program. Professional work experience is desired but not required. Successful applicants demonstrate strong leadership ability and analytical skills regardless of work experience.
Baylor's mission of cultivating skilled, highly educated and ethical business leaders starts with a passion for pursuing excellence. The Admissions Committee looks for this passion when reviewing prior academic performance, GMAT or GRE score and resume.
When Can I Start Business School?
Students with an Undergraduate Degree in Business
General MBA students can start in either the fall or spring semester. Healthcare MBA students can start only in the fall.Students without an Undergraduate Degree in Business
You will begin the MBA program taking the Integrated Management Seminar (IMS). General MBA students can take IMS in either the summer or fall semester. Healthcare MBA students must take IMS in the summer. Core MBA courses will begin the semester following IMS.
