Constraints of Success
The Institute for Family Business has experienced great success in the pursuit of its mission. However, as of November 2013, our opportunities have outpaced our resources. As a result, we are forced to curtail our participation in leading national and international efforts within the family business realm until we have the resources in place to support those activities. Towards that end, we are empowering an External Board of Advisors to assist our fund raising efforts. The 'Programs' page of this web site explains our current and future activities. Like any academic center, we need financial resources to maintain and expand those offerings. When the resources are in place, we will reinitiate the appropriate programs.
Great stewardship is the hallmark of any good family business. As we study successful family firms, we seek to model their best practices. If you wish to be an active part of our journey to reach out to the international family business community to promote our message of Firm-Family-Faith, please contact the Baylor Development office via email at Trey_Hagins@Baylor.edu
