Jim Anderson is owner of Tex-Port of McKinney, Texas, a consultancy specializing in global business development for SMEs (Small and Medium Sized Enterprises).

After graduating from Baylor with a BBA in Marketing in 1975, he received a Master of International Management (MIM) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1976. Jim then joined his father in the business of manufacturing and marketing transportation and logistical equipment for pressurized gasses and chemicals. He has devoted his energies and career to marketing and selling industrial products and capital goods around the world for more than thirty years.

Anderson is currently a member of the Exportors Round Table of Dallas and served on the founding Executive Council of the World LP Gas Association, a UN recognized global trade association based in Paris, France. He continues his service on the Advisory Board to the Center for Professional Selling and as Adjunct Professor of International Marketing and Global Business Development at Baylor's Hankamer School of Business. Mr. Anderson also manages the BaylorBusiness Global Connection which reaches out internationally to Baylor alumni, parents, and friends of BaylorBusiness who are living abroad.
