Mission

The mission of the Communications & Marketing (C&M) department at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business is to cultivate a positive reputation for the school.

Purpose

Our team provides leadership and counsel to other Hankamer departments on matters of marketing, communications, and relationship-building, with the interest of helping those departments achieve their goals. This may include, but not be limited to, messaging, market positioning, media relations, online communications, advertising, print communications, event promotion, and internal communications.

Vision

Our team enables engagement with stakeholders through a variety of media, both physical and virtual, to develop interest, active involvement, and relationships.

C.J. manages the department. Her areas of focus include planning, media relations, strategy, branding, positioning, EMBA support, advertising and the department's intern program.

Becca serves as managing editor of the Baylor Business Review and is responsible for most printed publications produced for the School, including the annual report for the department of Accounting & Business Law, the Entrepreneurship magazine, brochures and the MBA viewbook.

Brittany manages online communications for the School. This includes content, design and usability of websites, social media presence and email communications.

Lindy oversees administrative operations for the department. She manages student employees, circulation/distribution, event logistics and reservation/checkout for shared assets such as cameras, speaker backdrops and the table-top display. In addition, she manages what we like to call the "Hankamer Trinketorium" of premium branded apparel and gifts.
