Baylor University appointed David Wallace as the new director of the Executive MBA Program in Austin, Texas. Wallace, a 2009 graduate of the program, plans to share his vision and passion with future classes and to further enhance the program's quality and national reputation.
"Baylor's Executive MBA program had a profound impact on my life, and I look forward to being one of the main faces of the program in Austin," Wallace said.
Wallace comes to Baylor after an impressive career in the printing industry. After briefly working at DuPont, he moved to The Lehigh Press, a printing organization specializing in the manufacture of educational printed materials, for 12 years.
Wallace received many honors from Lehigh, including being named the "New Business Salesperson of the Year" for three consecutive years. The award was consequently renamed "The Wallace Award for New Business Development" for his achievement.
Wallace has a bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University.
"Based on his background, experience and past successes, Dave's leadership ability can move the Executive MBA program to that next level," Gary Carini, Hankamer School of Business Associate Dean of Graduate Business Programs, said. "We're looking forward to working with Dave and to implementing the great ideas he has for the Program."
