Baylor Freshman Josh Hamit placed 5th in the Spring 2009 Capsim Foundation(R) International Challenge, a global online business simulation competition designed to teach the essential elements of running a business.
Two hundred and fifty-five teams, including teams from BYU, Drexel Villanova, and UT-Arlington, competed in this worldwide tournament featuring an online business simulation. The same simulation used in the BUS 1301 classes.
Hammit's success in the tournament is a continuation of the strong showing Baylor students have made in this tournament in the past; last spring, Baylor students Amanda Mitchell and Samantha Stephenson placed 2nd in the competition.
