Baylor University Holds RFID Seminar Series

Sept. 20, 2006

From September 28-29, 2006, the second annual Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) seminar series will be held at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. The seminar will address the use of RFID technology in supply chains and business applications.

Dr. Pedro Reyes, of the Management and Entrepreneurship Department at Baylor, knows that technology and supply chains go hand-in-hand. "The seminar will feature scholars that have been researching RFID. Practitioners will provide insight into how the technology is evolving and reshaping the landscape of supply chain management," Reyes said.

Included among those participating in the event are keynote speakers Donald Berg, Business Development Manager and Lead Strategist for Sun Microsystems, and Dale Robertson, a manager for the Texas Workforce Commission.

The seminar will be held at the Cashion Academic Center at the Hankamer School of Business on the Baylor campus in Waco, Texas.
