Business School Wins Top Awards in Waco Ad Club

Feb. 16, 2005

The Advertising Club of Waco, part of the American Advertising Federation, held its annual ADDY awards banquet last Saturday.

Cynthia Jackson and Beth Barbee from the Communications & Marketing department entered their work in four categories. Selection of the most creative entry in each category is effected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. In each category, an ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the competition category.

The Business School won awards for:

MBA viewbook - Silver

Undergradute viewbook - Silver

Executive MBA print advertisement ("Eye Chart" - ADDY

Baylor Business Review - ADDY

In addition, just one item from the entire competition is chosen as "Best in Show." The 2004 issues of the Baylor Business Review were chosen by the judges as Best in Show.

Gold and ADDY award winners automatically advance to 14 regional competitions. Then, regional winners advance to the national/international finals.
