Student Internship Application

Nonprofit Technology Collaboration

MIS Non-Profit Internship Application

Waco Foundation, partnering with the Baylor MIS department, is sponsoring the Non-Profit Internship program. Each semester, IT- related internships at local non-profit organizations will be available for students. The assignment may be less than a full semester, or extend beyond one semester depending on the availability and performance of the student, and the need of the organization.

Duties will range according to the skills of the selected students and the needs of the local non-profit. Students chosen as interns will be paid either an hourly rate received monthly, OR a lump-sum amount received upon completion of the assignment, depending upon the assignment (and based on approval from Waco Foundation).

Internship course credit is available for students who work for at least a full semester and who have not already completed two internships for course credit. For an internship to receive internship course credit, applications must be received by the last class day of the semester that precedes the desired internship semester.

Applications may be submitted at any time and will remain on file for one year. All applications submitted will be reviewed by a committee of Baylor faculty and Waco Foundation staff. Finalists will be contacted via email for a follow-up interview. For more information, please contact Dr. Gina Green
