How can I get involved with Uproar Records?
Students can be involved with Uproar Records in three ways!
- ARTIST. If you would like to be on Uproar Records, each fall we have auditions to select up to five artists for Uproar Records. Look for announcements each September.
- MAJOR. Students majoring in marketing with a concentration in Music & Entertainment Marketing manage Uproar Records. See the requirements here.
- CLUB. Students interested in the marketing of music, film, and theatre can join the Uproar Club. Click here for the form.
What is Uproar Records?
Uproar Records is a record, entertainment, and promotion company run by students in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. Majors in marketing admitted into the Brand Engagement and Promotion program manage the design, production, management, and marketing of artists and their EPs, video, digital & social media strategies, merchandise, concerts, and events. Uproar Club members, including majors, carry out the responsibilities of recruiting artists, recording and producing artist tracks, distributing, and marketing the artists and their recordings.
