OB/HR Positions - Fall 2014

The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University invites application for two tenure-track positions in Organizational Behavior or Human Resource Management. One position is anticipated to teach organizational behavior, and one to teach negotiation.

Successful candidates must have evidence of the following:

  1. Completion of a Ph.D. or ABD with dissertation defended by July 2014.
  2. A record of research or emerging research that includes publication in leading academic journals.
  3. Evidence of teaching excellence in the areas of organizational behavior, negotiation, leadership, or introduction to management.
  4. Though quality research in any area is acceptable, individuals with a program of research that would complement existing OB/HR faculty are especially encouraged to apply. In particular, we are interested in individuals doing work in the areas of: negotiation, leadership, work-family balance, or ethics.

Applications will be reviewed beginning August 1, 2013 and will be accepted until the positions are filled. Initial interviews will be conducted at the Academy of Management Meeting as schedules allow. If approved, the appointments will commence in August 2014.

Candidates should possess the appropriate educational background for the respective positions. Additional information will be requested as needed. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Positions are contingent on budgetary approval.
