National and International Studies of Enterprise Creation; Small Business Management; Family-owned Businesses; Minority Issues in Small Business and Entrepreneurship; Research Methodologies; Venture Financing; Corporate and Non-profit Entrepreneurship.

Special Issues
ET&P publishes special issues periodically on topics such as International Entrepreneurship, European Venture Capital, and Corporate Entrepreneurship.

Teaching Cases
ET&P periodically features a teaching case. Teaching cases are reviewed the same way as articles.

Awards and Research Funding
ET&P supports research that broadens and defines the field of entrepreneurship. Projects such as the Entrepreneurial Research Consortium is one example of ET&P's contribution to field research. The ERC has designed a national study of business start-up activity and financing with a representative sample of national households. The study is being replicated in other countries so that comparative data will also be available. The consortium presents the opportunity for a major breakthrough in entrepreneurial research and ET&P is proud to be one of the sponsors of this worthwhile effort.

The journal recognizes at two organizational meetings, the best conceptual papers leading to theory development. A $500 cash award is presented at the annual meeting of USASBE and the Academy of Management — Entrepreneurship Division along with a framed certificate.
