Human Resource Management
The Human Resource Management major prepares students for business careers that are centered around people. Activities that require the human resource specialist's skills include recruitment, career planning, performance evaluation, job placement, compensation/benefit programs, training and development programs, and discipline. Career opportunities may be found in almost all business fields in firms that are large enough to warrant human resource specialists.
