Keller Center Selects 2012-2013 Public Relations Intern

Senior Aimee Gomez was recently chosen for the 2012-13 Keller Center for Research Public Relations Intern position in Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business.

Gomez is a Music & Entertainment Marketing major with a PR minor. She was offered the internship by Dr. Andrea Dixon, executive director of the Keller Center for Research. Dixon first met Gomez when the student served as a business beat reporter for The Baylor Lariat.

Gomez has held two internships before this new position. She has interned in the non-profit marketing sector summer 2008 through Montgomery County United Way in The Woodlands, Texas. She has also gained experience in the music industry through a marketing internship in summer 2012 with Word Records in Nashville, Tenn.

Gomez will produce and distribute PR materials for the Keller Center, specifically for the Keller Center Research Report. The Keller Center Research Report is a quarterly journal of academic research positioned for the real estate industry.

Gomez will begin the internship this month and will end the internship when she graduates in May 2013.
