This can be a problem for visitors on the Baylor campus, because most
of the parking spaces require a permit, and even these spaces can be in
short supply. So, we are providing several options:
Parking: A small number of designated Visitors' Parking
spaces are available on campus. If you arrive early, several of these are
available in the outdoor lot next to the Cashion Building.
Permit: If you send your name, the make of your car, and your
license plate number to
, she will obtain a temporary
permit for you, which will allow you to park almost anywhere on the
campus. Alternatively, you can obtain a Visitors Permit by visiting the
Parking Services office on the first floor of the Robinson Tower
(a tall office building near
the "University Parks" exit of Interstate 35). With a temporary
permit, you can park in the Speight parking garage next to the
Cashion building or the large Daughtry garage
that always has empty spaces.
Shuttle Service: You can park at Robinson Tower (building 80 on the Campus Map, near
the "University Parks" exit of Interstate 35), where
there's usually a lot of Visitor Parking, and catch one of
the regularly-scheduled Gold Route campus shuttle buses. For
information on this option, look here: http://www.baylor.edu/bus/index.php?id=31447
