Baylor MBA Students to Attend ACHE Conference in ChicagoMarch 23, 2006
Eight students in Baylor's MBA Healthcare Administration specialization program are headed to the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Annual Congress March 26-30 in Chicago. Students expect to learn from educational sessions about current healthcare issues, attend professional development classes, and network amongst the thousands of executive and peer attendees.
Sam Spencer, a first time conference attendee who is looking forward to interacting with healthcare executives says "Networking is my first and foremost goal of attending this conference. I want to meet people in as many healthcare systems as I can, for two reasons: 1) future employment opportunities, 2) general networking/association-building."
Attending the ACHE conference is an exciting and valuable experience for the students, and as past attendee Leslie Brocato recalls, "a highlight of the semester".
