Christian Management Scholars Network

Business Ethics

History: The Christian Management Scholars Network began in 1996 when a graduate student and a handful of professors gathered together during the Academy of Management meetings for the sake of encouragement and fellowship. From these humble beginnings, our network has grown to include over 150 professors and graduate students. Over the years we’ve gathered together annually for breakfast or, on occasion, a dinner such as the one hosted on the hills of Seattle Pacific University, a special seminar, or a Professional Development Workshop such as the one we hosted in Hawaii on the theology of work.

Mission: Our general and guiding purpose is drawn from Hebrews 10:24-25 As Christians in the Academy, we are committed to meeting together for encouragement and to spur one another on to love and good deeds.
