Executive MBA 2009
EPT Program Manager, Micron Technology, Inc.
In the first 6 months after graduation from Baylor's Austin Executive MBA program, Toysha Walker, 2009 received her first promotion, as FDC Lead Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. Walker recalls the promotion to a leadership position and the new responsibilities as "This position was demanding because my company was in the planning stages of changing a major end-user application. I was responsible for managing that change as well as direct reports for the first time."
While receiving a promotion after graduation is a prime example of a tangible benefit, Walker treasures the relationships and bonds formed wither her former classmates and professors. She feels that, "The relationships were developed as a result of my participation made such an impact on me. Even if I don't speak with former classmates or professors on a regular basis after graduation, I know I can contact any one of them without hesitation for advice or assistance. Within 21 months, unbreakable bonds were formed through having a common goal of obtaining knowledge and completing the program successfully."
Today, Toysha Walker is the EPT Program Manager at Micron Technology, Inc.
