Global Business

The Hankamer School of Business believes in transformational, worldwide discovery for students, faculty and staff. Through the McBride Center for International Business, students are encouraged to explore global experiences within their degree program through study abroads, international internships and Business mission abroad programs. Faculty and staff also have the opportunity to engage in global initiatives, pursuing international research possibilities and incorporating discovered concepts into their classrooms.

Breaking Barriers in Healthcare: Baylor University MBA Student Secures First Place in Essay Contest

Mariam Fawzy Eid, enrolled in the healthcare specialization of Baylor University’s MBA program, recently took home the top prize in the prestigious Richard J. Stull Student Essay Competition. Her submission presented novel ways to utilize artificial intelligence in electronic health records to mitigate physician burnout.

Baylor Hosts 2024 New Venture Competition

The Hankamer School of Business (HSB) at Baylor University hosted the New Venture Competition (NVC) this past weekend at the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation. NVC, presented by HSB’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation, allows collegiate teams of entrepreneurs from around the world to showcase their business plans and compete for cash prizes and resources.

Accounting and Business Law Professor Honored by Senior Class as Collins Outstanding Professor

Baylor University’s 2024 senior class has selected Lotte Bostick, J.D., CPA, assistant clinical professor in the Department of Accounting and Business Law at Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, as the 2024 Collins Outstanding Professor.
