Rex Whitaker's practice includes general business, securities, and tax related matters. In the past, he has handled numerous capital fundings involving public securities offerings, tax exempt bond financings, venture capital fundings and private placements.
Mr. Whitaker has represented clients in numerous multimillion dollar business acquisitions and mergers in Texas and throughout the United States. Mr. Whitaker participates in a significant amount of business planning involving a wide variety of estate and business planning alternatives. Additionally, he serves as general counsel for several technology and communications companies engaged in satellite communications, fiber optic component manufacturing, medical device development and manufacturing, and other technology related matters. He serves on the board of directors of several companies.
