Pat Horner

J. Patrick Horner is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of the Horner Group, an information technology consulting and venture capital company based in McLean, Va. He is also chairman of the board and CEO of E5 Systems, Inc., a software consulting and China offshore software development company.

Mr. Horner was Founder, President, Chief Operating Officer and Board member of Perot Systems Corporation. From startup through the first five years, Mr. Horner led the corporation from pre-revenue to $250M annual revenue, over $2B in backlog and 2,500 associates. With 30 years experience in executive leadership and sales management in the computer, communications IT services industry, he was also a founder and senior sales executive for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in the Government Systems Group. During his tenure at EDS, Mr. Horner was the sales and marketing executive responsible for the company's fastest growing business unit that went from zero to $750 million in annual revenue in 10 years.

Mr. Horner has served on numerous boards in both the public and private sector. Additionally, he has served on multiple board committees pertaining to governance, audit and finance. Mr. Horner received a BBA from Baylor University and a master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado. He resides in McLean, Va., with his wife Melinda, also a Baylor graduate.
